 1.  Are we allowed to post knives in the for sale forum without prices? But instead, tell potential customers to send emails asking for prices? .


2. Is there a way to ascertain a sellers history on this forum, i.e., rating, complaints, etc.?

1. Yes.

2. No.

We are not a seller's/collector's site. When Don added the For Sale forum it was as a favor to those of us who wanted it. The code of gentlemanly conduct that governs the rest of the site is all there is.

Generally speaking you get more real contacts and fewer tire kickers when you post prices.
