"Who is on line" notes are not working

I often have a look to see who else might be on line. Lately, I often see there are no fellow enthusiasts participating. Is it telling me how it is, or is it malfunctioning, or none of the above.

I get the feeling the feature was turned off.  I suspect because it uses data/bandwidth.

Actually, it has to do with a bug that was preventing registrations. Niels changed ansetting and now you can register, but for some reason the "who's online" thingy qiit working about the same time. Might not be related, but it is highly coincidental.

Does not make sense to me. These should be completely unrelated.
