Due to the continuing efforts of the spamming mafia there have been two changes in the rules regarding new registrations.

Effective immediately, all new registrations must use real names as your display name. No numerals will be allowed in display names.  Note I do not see your login name when you register, all I see is your chosen display name, IP address, and email address, so I don't care what your login name is.  Only the display name is important. If you feel you need an exception, send a personal email to the forum registrar here.

Upon registration you will be sent an auto-generated email from this forum with a link which must be clicked to activate your account.

Edit 11 June 2012: lately, many people have not been getting the automatic email because of their email system's spam settings. We have begun admitting those who do not respond to the automatic email PROVIDED they meet the other requirements. All applications are still manually checked against a spammer database. If you have applied properly (real name and no numerals OR checking with me prior to applying) and didn't get the email, just try logging in after 12 hours or so, chances are you're in.

If your spam filter prevents you from getting this email, send a personal email to the forum registrar within 24 hours or your account may not be validated. We apologive for any inconvenience. If you don't like it, lobby for strong anti-spam laws.

Edit 24 September 2013:  If you are getting an error message when you try to register, send an email to the forum registrar and we'll get you set up manually.  There seems to be a problem with a certain range of IP numbers.
