Ferric chloride powder, whats the ratio??

I just ordered a pound of ferric chloride powder..thats the only way I can find it..Whats the ratio to water mix?? Ounces to gallons of water,etc?? Thanks
You have to take Life by the throat, then you need to chocke it until it spits up what you want!!

I use 4 ounces of the ferric chloride powder per gallon of distilled water. Add the powder in increments and mix well. Do it outside or with plenty of ventilation and don't breath the fumes. This strength matched the 4:1 dilution of the Radio Shack etchant people talk about and does a gret job of etching damascus blades.
