So Patrick Hastings and six students were here in the shop for a five day class on Classical Japanese Metalworking. Here is what they did:

Patrick may do another class in 2012.

Patrick, is that a reply to my previous question engraved on your practice plate for your display of tenzogan in the video?
:D

Actually that "cute" little phrase is something Ric put on the plate with his new engraving skills he learned in the class. I would ask him to edit it out, but it took almost 12 hours to save and upload the video to Utube!. Other than that he was a fantastic host and I would not hesitate to teach at his school again. So as to teaching in Hong Kong? I don't know, Its not out of the question though.

The 'cute' little phrase adds humour. ;)

Teaching in HK...yes, I can dream,
Perhaps yourself, Ford and Jim Kelso would like to come round for tea and biscuits and a week of intensive training?
I'll let you fight it out between you who gets the sofa... ;)
