  1. Here's the first blade I've made from bar-stock steel. I don't have the means to heat treat myself, so I sent it out to J & L Cutlery for that. After I polished it, I sent it back out for the handle to be done, as I haven't done one yet. I didn't attempt the handle myself because I'll be donating this piece for for the SBG Sword Forum's Holiday Giveaway, and I wanted experienced hands to do the handle.   2. Hello everyone, take a look at my new creation and tell me what you think! Made out of sleipner steel, 315mm long, 6mm thick at 59 rockwell. Bolsters made out of sleipner steel. Bronze pins liners and details. Kydex and boltaron sheath with molle straps. Acid stonewashed bevels and mirror polished flats. Price for this one is 400 euros + shipping + paypal fees.

Wes, truly a beautiful knife, btw, was that you I saw in a popular knife magazine? the only things I could add to the rust bluing process is use rock salt or kosher salt rather then table salt and keep adding salt and peroxide as it boils down and earl grey tea works the best for turning steel black. anything else I do, might be considered a little too far fetched, so I'll keep that to myself lol R
