  1. This is a really cool thread. Years ago, when life started getting REALLY busy, i found myself reminding myself this: if you feel your thoughts sliding over to the lazy area, dont listen to them. Its kept me out of trouble. Tom

  5. Ht'ed 3 blades yesterday. The twins on the left are gifts in 80CrV2. The right one is the second knife of a commission in W2 with hamon. Also did the final grind on the later, the hamon was already poping just with the x65 belt

  6. Haven't had a whole lot of time for this project the last couple days. I did manage to get them all sanded. Next step is the sheath. I'm trying to decide if I want to inlay antler in the sheath or show off more of the pretty wood... Or maybe both options. We shall see. Adam

  8. I worked alone today... I got stuck inside my head. Sometimes it gets interesting. I need to lose weight...Some have bigger issues. You ever go all day hungry and whatever you finally eat tastes amazing? Ever wonder how a bowl of rice must taste after going hungry for a week? Does the thought of that make you lose your appetite? If you knew you'd die tomorrow; would you be satisfied with what you did yesterday? Did you act in passion or pride? Perhaps the proud ought to be ashamed and maybe the shameful have something to be proud of after all... Just like a man who claims he is wise

  11. Oh snap! Dropped on concrete. 375°f was perhaps a bit low for W2. 425°f should give around 61hrc and will be safer. Better now than after the sale!
