  1. This set away today with 71/2 and 5 1/2 inch chefs with a 5 inch general purpose and a 4 inch paring knife. Really pretty Chittim handles with mini corby bolts.

  3. Thank you for the reply Kreg. I quenched in Canola. Preheated it to about 250*F with a hot piece of scrap. Funny you mention that -- I am hoping to see a 2 gallon bucket of Parks 50 on my doorstep any time now.

  6. Almost all integrals are forged from round bar. 3/4" round is a good size for larger kitchen knives, and if you're good with a hammer you can get boning knives, pettys, and large paring knives out of 1/2" round.

  8. thats great .. thanks for the pdf. now ... if i can only find someone around here that will sell me this stuff. even finding calcium chloride is tricky ive found. they always think im trying to make a bomb or something. oh well... i wouldnt trust me if i were them either.
