  1. Congratulations on your win. Well done, sir.
  2. I have a couple London Pattern anvils. My favorite anvil and the one I use, is a 4'x4' stump anvil from, Old World Anvils. For a while I even used a 12" piece of 1 1/4" square seated in a hole in a stump, just for the heck of it. I don't use the horn or bottom tools, just hammer and anvil. So, for me, all that is used is the hammer face and about the same area of an anvil. To each their own, but as previously mentioned, there has been an awful lot of ironwork produced throughout history on anvils no bigger than a mans fist.

Take care of you and yours. Hope it's not too bad.
  4. Top shelf work, as always.
  5. I buried my wife on January 11, of this year. She was my whole world. I wish there were some words that could ease your pain. Make the most of every moment.
  6. As usual, Alan was right again. Well done, sir. And Thanks for posting.
  7. I like the look of the knife a lot. I've never forged anything from a ball bearing, tough stuff I'm sure. The coin rings are fun to make.
  8. That's something, I have never thought of. Looks good. I like it a lot. Well done, sir.
  9. Well done. Best folder I have ever seen.
