Hey! I have something new, pictures are from top oldest to youngest. Most knives are form 14-15th century as well as sheats. Last thing is 18th century alarm clock.

Sheath: wood core covered by traditionaly tanned deer leather from Lapland.

Excuse my late answer (I guess that everything about this knife take looong time). Decorations are soldered in fire before hardening.

It was hardened partially Ondřej. By the way, knife passed contest well now I start to thinking about other parts of set.

Hey! We have great time there, lot of fun and many opportunities to learn something new. Hey! I made this one for competition at Knifest (some wood, rope, ball, can, etc.. chopping), I use that oportunity to try different type of bauernwehr/hunting knife than last time. If this one survive all competition I want to made small knife, fork and sheath. Blade I forged from old wagon leaf spring, at handle I use walnut wood. Fittings and rivets are from brass sheet.

So, because I lost one needle decide to make stitchless sheath This is my first attempt so I use scrap leather (that unfortunatelly is not good for shaping so tip and mouth are not perfect) I use there one side wood insert to fortify whole sheath. If you decide that this one is ugly enought for you I´ll look for better piece of leather and made new one....

Not so much, I have few years before original Wirkkala in hand and that handle shape catch me. In this opportunity I decide to try different things than do usually, and this idea is offered itself.

Hey! I made this one from scraps: Blade from scrap piece of pattern welded steel that I take from my friend shop. Unknown wood from trash pile behind gardens. Fittings are soldered sheath that i forge from 17th century wrought bars that my friend save when old prison was tear down. I try to made this knife thin and light as possible to easy everyday carrying....

Little knife for small ranger with white tree seedling on blade and two Middleearth star constellation on bog oak handle. Slipjoint folder, blade I forge from spring steel tree I carve and cover by wax before patinating (unfortunatelly wax is not precious like alcohol pen). Silver pins I made from silver wire.

That is one of the best knife with bone handle that I seen. I like how blade work together with bone...

Are you using it on the push or on the pull? -This one is only for pull, but work surprisingly fast- one groove at this knife take about 5 minutes scraping but then about half hour polishing with sandpaper on wood stick and needle files...
