  1. ABS Hammer In Schedule for 2014 The American Bladesmith Society sponsors Hammer-Ins in many regions of the country each year. During 2014 the American Bladesmith Society is offering Hammer-Ins in Maine, North Carolina, Ohio, Kansas, Arkansas, Tennessee, and California. The American Bladesmith Society is also endorsing a Hammer-In in Tilley, Alberta, Canada. The 2014 ABS schedule is listed below with the ABS Hammer-In Directors for each event.   6. I just learned today from Master Smith Steve Culver that Aldo Bruno the "New Jersey Steel Baron" and Al Lawrence "Uncle Al" of Riverside Machine will be at the Heartland Hammer-In. Butch Sheely is the ABS Coordinator for the Mid America and said: "Hello, the 8th Mid America Bladesmithing Symposium and Knife Show will take place at the Miami County Fairgrounds, Troy, Ohio, August 24, 25 and 26th, 2012. Like Mace with the New England event, this is the first ABS Hammer-in that I have been asked to be the coordinator of. I feel honored that Jim Batson has confidence in me.
