  1. Hey, thanks for the time put into this collection..
  2. I'm sure your customer and his parents will appreciate it.
  3. That thing would be great in the garden, picking veggies or in Jack the rippers hand ready to open a body cavity.
  4. Beautiful knife as usual. Your work is always some of my favorite... NOW, I usually feel no offense when people bash Americans because I often agree, especially on the prudes, thought police and pusified blithering bed wetters BUT, these over generalizations don't offend me personally because they don't apply to me. I just hope people do see a bit of disrespect woven into the light nature of the digs...from the non Americans that is. Im a shop rat and an Irishman. So the callus on my hands matchs that on my sensitive side.
  5. Nice. Did the dead elk appear to have been killed or....?
  6. I think the forge looks great. I would think those upper teeth are gong to be a pain in the ass though?
  7. Great looking work and the cut test video through the nail was awesome
  8. Like I said before homey, that knife really something.
  9. Looks great man. Can't wait for the finished product.
  10. You can also get some ceramic refractory/kaowool at any furnace repair or hvac shop. Tell them you need a few square feet and why, offer to pay but I've always gotten it for next to nothing. You can roll that up inside a coffee can or anything and youre on your way. Then follow the other fellas advise for heat.

  12. Wow! theres some amazing work there man. I like yours with the purple heart the most of the 2.
  13. Welcome to the fold sir. This is where a large variety of truly talented smiths converge day after day.. By the looks of your work you are in the right place..
  14. My advice based on experience is to only deal with dealers in your country or countries you feel you can trust. I never deal with China or any of the Russian countries just because if your item does arrive youll be lucky if it resembles the item you paid for..
  15. Kevin, I like this one too. I said as much where you're selling it, trying to build some confidence. I've bought/sold a handful of things there. I'm sure you'll move it.
  16. Like Miles I like the red handle and what you did with the lanyard.
  17. Nice looking knife. By the way, your handle is phenolic. Basically the same as micarta, just no color. Good stuff. It'll be around long after the knife disintegrated
  18. I read and watch informative videos every waking moment im not working. As for what low impact activities you can do, try inlaying handles. I practice with the stranded copper wire hammered flat. Made my tool from a small piece of razor blade/xacto knife.
  19. Man, what a place. And I'll guarantee the door price was less than wee pay for the Holiday inn.
