Guess I'm a seasoned beginner bladesmith. I made knives back in the early 90s as a hobby, but my hardening and tempering sucked. Then I had a kid and took a 16 year break. Just started up again in 2010, and now there's the internet & New England School of Metal work, which makes things a whole lot better.

I also build laminated wooden bows & wooden arrows, furniture, cut my own lumber, and I'm trying to start up a small foundry to cast sculpted knife hardware. And I used to make armor back in the 80's but only started making plate before I switched to knives.

I design & write software in real life to fund my hobbies, feed my face, and pay the mortgage(in order of importance).
