Hi,
because I am new a quick intro: I am northern Germany based (on the Danish border)
and make stuff (knifes and some leather or woodwork) as a hobby. Because I don't own a forge
I have to improvise. My knives are made of preworked steel bands, and I will grid and hammer the knife out of the flat bar.
Even if not completely forged (I use band steel and "forge "the tip)
I want to show this piece. It is a 3-layer hitachi (blue paper) steel, blade length is 30cm.
For a friend of mine who is fond of fish-things for fishing
The handle is burned holly.
