  1. Jon Cook, I would much rather do a blown burner but due to where I live and lack of workshop buildings, I'm forced to go with a venturi burner. I've looked at the pinned post on blown burners a few times but wasn't sure how different they are from a venturi burner. C Craft, thank you so much for the info! I am hoping to get the burners made in the next few days to weeks so I can start working.
  2. I apologize in advance if this topic has been posted to death. I've look on the forum for a good 30 minutes and haven't been able to find what I'm looking for. My question is, can anyone point me in the right direction for making a couple venturi burners for a gas forge. I have the body ready to go (and old propane tank, ironic I know) and a good idea of how I'm going to line it. I just have no idea how to make a burner. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. 3. Thank you both so much! I have take one intro blacksmithing class from a local smith and fell in love with the craft. The wealth of information on this forum and the members is a treasure trove and I'm so excited that I stumbled up it.
  4. Hey everyone, I'm brand new to the world of blacksmithing and am looking for some help. I want to run a gas forge for a few reasons (ease of temperature control, fuel availability, etc.) During my extensive research using Dr. Google, I have run across a forge from Myjestic Forge. It is a 5 burner forge (link included) and seems to be a pretty decent deal for the price. I was wondering if anyone has had any dealing with this company or could point me in a better direct. Thanks, Nathaniel Parker, NRP http://www.majesticforge.com/product/5-burner-deluxe/
