The things I buy at auction, why I buy them, and how much I pay!

What auction sites do you use. Everyone that I have ever looked at has so much stuff I don't even no where to start. And it always like construction (big) equipment or Boats or crazy stuff that I have no use for

    Hunting knife

Your the auction "GURU" lol. Next time I need something I'm going to message you to see what's out there lol. As for the VFDs I know 2 people that are using cheap like less then $100 Vfd's off Ebay. They just strapped an AC filter 2 them and they have been running over a year now atleast and no problems.

    Hunting knife

I had a grinder that was 1 speed- Fast. it was very hard to get good grinds and not burn up edges after heat treat. I have a VFD now and a 3phase motor and it is like night and day difference. I know VFD is not cheap but the Aggravation and time you save make it worth every penny

    What I might make

I still have to rough grind the bevels and file in the tenon and drill the hole for the tenon to rivet too. Then heat treat and finish. If you don't know what an xrhea knife is just google Lin Rhea Xrhea knife What do you guys think? Good kith project or should I make something else. If I do make the Xrhea knife I will make a killa sheath for it
