As the title said, this is a damascus folding knife I made. It took quite a while, but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. I think around $1,200-1,600 is a fair price, but I'm open to negotiation.

I would normally ask this of my forging teacher, but this is a gift for him, so that's obviously out of the question. The only method of coloring steel I know of is either steel blue or heat. Is this one of those? Any advice would be great
