  1. Thanks everyone, I plugged it in for about 20 minutes last night. It started heating up so it looks like I need a a PID, therocouple and SSR The pdf I read says it will go up to 2000F When you install the PID you bypass the temp control on the front correct?
  2. I recently won this muffle furnace at an auction i am thinking about adding a PID to it Has anyone done that? Any advice I have not tested it yet because as you can see it has no controls
