  3. the 5/8 symbol and that one piece of the guard that was broken almost makes me think it was a small bayonet? Could be wrong though. it does seem to be a bit short for a bayonet.
  4. I did a little research on fillet knifes but don't see any with a drop point or a clip point like mine
  5. This is a knife that I found at a antiques store but I don't know what kind it is. Any help is appreciated, Also I might be looking to sell it depending on the price.   6. I finally made it to the blacksmith meeting! I was also able to find someone who was willing to let me go to his shop on occasion.

  10. Mostly I want a lot of recommendations for coal forges. I am sorry if I'm being too vague, but I just want to get as much information as possible.

  14. how did you get your coal forge?
  15. I am pretty fixed. there seems to be to much that can go wrong with gas forges. also I think it's cheaper and less hassle. but please correct me if I'm wrong. thank you so much for all the replies everybody!
  16. What kind of coal do you use? And how did you get it?
  17. It's a hand powered blower, the fire pot is a 9 by 6 by 3 bread pan
  18. sounds like I need to deepen my forge.
