  1. Baised on a proghorn this knife has an 01 (triple quenced and triple tempered at 200 oc). The blade has been finished to a hand rubbed 400 grit then taken to an webrax belt to give a nice statin finish, dovetailed and pinned guard of brass. The handle scales are liburnum which show both sap and heart wood, finshed of with two 1/4" brass tubing. Soon to be sheathed what do you guys think?

    The blade on this knife has been forged from 52100 rod sectioned steel once again triple hardened and tempered to 62 rockwell. Then handle is amboina with mosiac pins and has an oiled finish. the sheath is by dave budd and has the following ruines on it: ALGIZ - PROTECTION ON EVERY LEVEL THURISAZ- THORNY HARSH PROTECTION, WARRIORS PROTECTION SIGEL- SUCCESS, HIGHEST POTENTIAL
  3. hey guys you found my tanto. Ok heres how it started the tanto was first quenched in oil with a claycoat just a plain wave patern, i tempered it but as i was tempering it someone turned up the oven and the temper was lost. So i decided to take it down doc prices i had put the clay on just like before, doc first dipped the blade quickly in water took it out then back in water then into oil.

    This one is made from carbon steel quenched 3 times in oil and etched in ferric to reveal grain stucture. the handle is made up of leather spacers, mircarta and a lovely piece of amboina finished with junkers rustic oil. total size: 11 inches  blade: 6 inches from bloster

    hi i'm jonathan baron from england i'm a student of Doc Prices i've been talking to don and he says to post some of my work, so here goes. This skinner has been heavy influenced by dons range of shiv knives the main part of the handle is stab red wood burl follow by a spacer of buffalo horn a recon stone then another piece of bufflao to finish a spacer of sole leather.

    i'm really pleased with this one. The blade is medium carbon steel the handle is beech burl with a leather spacer.   9. this one is influneced by don foggs shiv blades. This one is made of 52100 steel and is 6" long

    its a spring steel the english term is en42 which i think is 1095

    hi this blade was clay coated then quickly quenched in water then in oil. Â The blade was finished to 1500grit then placed put into acid to reveal the temperline which was polished with pumice stone powder
