This is an ongoing project that I and two of my friends work on and intend to finish by next march. Since it is currently in the design phase, I post the topic here. The concept of the whole project arouse in a pub where we decided to make our version of war knives. However, instead of making a single design together through endless debates and bitter compromises, we agreed that everyone should materialize his own thoughts and see what happens. Here is my version of a tactical blade. A Toneguzzo Tack. 1075 and ironwood. Mostly stock removal on this one. Should have my forge up and running again soon.. Miss the hammer.

Hi this is a beautiful full tang Tactical/Fighter forged out of Aldo's 52100. It is 1/4" at the thickest and gentle tapers with the distal taper. The blade overall length is 10" with a 6" blade and 4" handle. The wood is an exotic hardwood called bocote that has been hand polished, oiled and sealed. It has two 1/8" brass pins and has epoxied to hold everything together permanently. The blade has been differentially heat treated using Master Smith Ed Fowlers method. It has been 4x normalized, 3x hardened, and finally tempered 3x for 2 hours each time. Between each step it has been placed in the

Made this for a kid I go to school with. Materials and design were his choice..... I dont hate it... Powder coated 1075, green micarta, and welding rods for the pins I bet the guys over on bladeforums would eat this up
