As I have stated I’m new to this forum and I was wondering if anyone could help identify a bayonet I recently received. The blade states that it was made by Ames Manufacturing Co. in 1860 but I am having trouble figuring out what model it is. The blade measures to be 22 7/8” long with the handle measuring 4 3/4” long. Any help would be appreciated thanks. I’ll try to help provide additional information if possible.

Hand cast bronze sturrip-hilt and mahogany grip. Tinsmithed scabbard with leather lining and pinstriped japaning. www.irontreeforge.com
