Here a couple I finished up recently. A wa-gyuto with burnt hawthorn handle, blade forged from w2 and differentially hardened. Blade was around 8.5”.

Has anyone forge welded 9260? I've done a 1080/5160 construction before with good results, but since Admiral has started stocking 5160 and 9260 interchangeably I am considering trying a new combo for bigger blades once I've depleted my current stock. Similar note; has anyone done 5160 + W2? I figure it will forge similarly to W2 + O1, just less prone to cracking.

15N20, 1095, 1080 random. Blades approximatley 7" blade with 440C full tang. The tangs are overlength for eae of handleing. HT, triple temper. Etched, ready to go, tangs are not hardened, easy drill. I have 6 left. No time to finish. $100.00 plus shipping. Contact: knives@threesistersforge.com
