Jesus Hernandez
My son is about to turn 10 years old, so we worked "together" at the forge to make a knife. The design is entirely his. He wanted a banana-shaped knife. Then he help with the quenching, polishing of the blade and shaping of the wood. It's a small knife. The blade is about 3 inches. It's was fun to make. Enjoy life! Adlai Stein
That is way cool. I have forged banana's before (it's what I call malforged blades) but they have never looked that good. You both did a great job. Adlai Klatu Baratta Necktie! Macabee Knives

Brice
very few knives have the capacity to make me chuckle with joy, but when I saw this one, I certainly did. That is a cool little piece, and I am glad you showed it to us. i am also very glad that you can share this wonderful craft with your son. i look forward to being able to do that with my kids, but they are still too little (3yrs and 18 mos). That is a neat little piece. Show me a blacksmith making a toilet, and I will show you a man forging ahead.
