Mid Morning Special

Recommended Posts

While I'm waiting for the sun to burn the dew off the hay that I plan to put in the barn I had time to take a few pictures of a fighter I just finished up. I used more of that Bruno 1084 for the blade. The blade is 9 3/4" with some of the finest iron available for the fittings and a chunk of ebony for the handle. Overall its 15 1/2" and weighs 15 oz. Balance point is 3/8" in front of the guard.

RAYMOND-- Looks mighty fine to me. Appreciate you taking the time to foto it.

Hope your hay makes good.

Great as always, but I REALLY like the way you did the spine! Makes that long, pointy blade look even longer and pointier.

Alan, I did this one just the way you like it. I probably forged this blade at least a year ago if not longer and its been hanging on my wire of blades ever since. I've been having a real bad flare up of arthritis in my forging paw. Hammering anything fresh has just been out of the question but I'm still able to put knives together. This knife's number just came up.
