Hi there.

finally got around to finishing my seax.

back is 28 layers twist and edge if seven layers straight.

handle is reindeer and bronze.

All it needs is a sharpening job, and it is ready to next years viking reenactment.

any critique is welcome.

Cheers Mike

That knife speaks for itself. Very good.

There are three kinds of men. The one that learns by reading. The few who learn by observation. The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence for themselves. Will Rogers

beautiful work, grettir would be proud

It's not that I would trade my lot

Or any other man's,

Nor that I will be ashamed

Of my work torn hands-

For I have chosen the path I tread

Knowing it would be steep,

And I will take the joys thereof

And the consequences reap.

I love it! :) nice bold simple pattern. my kinda style.

blade and sheath make a great looking finished package!

I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness,

nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend"
