2 recent knives

i finished 2 knives recently.

 

the first one is forged 1084

edge quenched and tempered twice

tried a little filework on the spine.

tambootie scales and mosaic pins from a friend of mine.

sheath carved with a dental tool and wetformed.

second one is forged by my dad, it's 1080 convex ground 3/4s of the way up, blued, and i melted some braze into the forge marks near the spine during HT.

antler crown,padauk spacers,and brass guard.

Those are both great looking knives. The smaller one looks like a great carry knife. What are the dimensions on them?

thanks guys! :)

 

the little one, is about 7" OAL with a 3.5" blade and a 3" cutting edge

 

the large one is 11" OAL with a little over a 5" blade.

 

the handle on the big one is tilted up just a little, but it's stil prettty comfy.

 

sadly the blade on the big one bent just slightly during HT, but i didn't want to mess with it as it was only by about 2 degrees. :(
