Hard to tell from the pictures, but I would say its not in "perfect condition". But seriously this looks like it might be a step up from the little giant 25#. Anyone run one of these hammers before? He's a hobby smith but his bad shoulder prevents him from swinging a hammer for very long. He gave me a really nice 4# hammer and a bunch of tongs for Christmas.

The footprint is very small, and they are only about 4 feet tall. They are supposed to out-draw a 50 lbs LG hammer... I think it would be cool to take to blacksmithing demos, or if you were to be doing simple drawing operations it would be wonderful. Helves are very cool in my opinion.
