So, just for the record: the fact that it does work still should not be taken as definitive proof that you are not crazy.

I have been eyeing this hammer and decided to post and let some one else lust after it. It is located in Ireland. I guess you say "accross the pond". Also a great used equipment place if you need anything.

Bid on Equipment .com

Listing # 36339

Sahinler SM-34

Bid ends 4/27/09

Starting bid $900.

No of Bids 0

Looks brand new. Says it was damaged in transit. Who know maybe a dent?

Good luck.

If anyone know any knifemakers near there let them know.

depending on the condition, they go for 500$ to 4000$ for the 25# hammers

a bit more for the bigger hammers, little giants max out around 7000$.

You should not really pay more than 5000$ for a mechanical hammer in my opinion...

Not eBay, but here's an ad I saw in the Alabama Forge Council's newsletter. I have no connection with or knowledge about them other than seeing the ad...

FYI........There are presently two 25# Little Giants on Ebay...

No, after it got over $1000 I figured I already have a 70# hammer, shop space is at an all time low, and I really want to buy a 135# Say Mak...

A 25# little giant isn't in my future...
