I posted a wile not, but now I am back again. :rolleyes:

 

What to say.....

I am realy happy with the result of this folder.

The frame is made from titanium, damascusblade and hardware made by myselfe, I only had to buy the ball as a finished part

Hope you like it.

Blasdelength: 92mm / 3,62"

Beautiful work Uli.

 

The contrast between the precision of the blade geometry and the coarseness of the folder body is very striking.

 

What kind of steel comprises the damascus?

This is an awesome knife. At some point donw the road I'd like to make one similar to this. I like the rugged and unrefined look of it.

Have you ever thought about the life of steel? It's interesting to think that you can control the fate of a piece of metal.
