KPeacock
After looking at some of Ariels work, I'm pretty impressed with the results of the damascus in a box. I'm contemplating attempting something along these lines and I'm wondering if one could use aluminum instead of stainless steel to keep the desired materials from welding to the box. Has anyone tried this, or is this idea fundamentally flawed? Have you ever thought about the life of steel? It's interesting to think that you can control the fate of a piece of metal.
