As some of you people know I'm a great dagger fan and you are at the top of the heap when it comes to daggers (and at the top of my list for owning one). This dagger is no exception when it comes to showing the talents you have. This one has an understated beauty and elegance to it and it can be recognized from a mile away as being your work. jdsmith02115 Posted March 18, 2009 Author Share Posted March 18, 2009 I got the Blackwood from a company out my way that makes flutes, piccolos and clarinets(Powell Flute) They sold me three large logs 10" in diameter by 4', pretty much a lifetime supply. They informed me that they were no longer processing the wood themselves, but were now getting it pre-cut and sized from a supplier. The logs had been in storage for almost 80 years! I had the chance to get my fingerprints all over several of your knives years ago at the Ashokan Seminar. I love how cohesive your designs are.
