Lamey

Tannehill Chopper, show what your brining.

Recommended Posts

Kind of an "old school" chopper for me, no fancy curves, no fancy handles, just a very basic, very sharp cutting tool. Forged from 1-1/2" x 1/4" 1095, blade is 10 x 2, overall 15".

So if you have pics of what your brining, feel free to show um here.

I've not got picks taken of one yet, and one is in the last stages of assembly, been working to get everything pulled together I'm bringing.

I am planning to bring some micarta, might try to whip up a few more batches tomorrow.

Look me up Lamey as I'd like to meet you in person.

just because it doesn't have a lot of extra stuff that won't help with its intended function does not mean it is "simple." At least, not simple in the bad sense.

Refined, thats it... refined.

I LIKE IT, for what its worth.

Well, I just got back from Batson's. I went Friday and Saturday. My eyes hurt from trying to read name tags, and I sure got a lot of funny looks when I was leaning towards people trying to read their name tags (I don't see as well as I once did)

Long story short........... I couldn't find brother Lamey anywhere.

I sure did want to meet him and "pick his brain".

Oh well, maybe another day.
