Bob Ouellette 78
My family all chipped in to pay for my birthday present this year. I had to buy it myself, but I love it just the same. It's a Taurus 1911, .45 Auto. It came with 2 magazines, 2 sets of grips, and a hard case. I'm super excited about it The revolver is my Rossi .38 Special. Bob Ouellette 78
Yeah, wouldn't that be nice. Just finding any at the moment is not the simplest thing. Yeah, I know what you mean. Out of 5 stores, I only found 3 boxes, and that was from the guy that sold me the gun. He held them for me as soon as he got them in. Racca 0
Happy Birthday to all the April Birthdayers. LOL I have heard that those who celebrate life walk safely amongst the wild animals. When they go into battle, they remain unharmed, the animals find no place to attack them and weapons are unable to harm them. Why? Because they find no place for death in them. Bob Ouellette 78
Thanks Scott and Racca. Hopefully it won't come down to reloading, I was hoping to use all of my old brass to pour some hardware Bob O "When I raise my flashing sword, and my hand takes hold on judgment, I will take vengeance upon mine enemies, and I will repay those who haze me. Alan Longmire 3,813
Seeing as how my own birthday was the 12th, can I shoot it? I used to have an actual Colt Series 70 Govt. Model, but had to sell it about ten years ago (moving several hundred miles while unemployed is not recommended). I loved that gun! Hope that one suits you well.

Alan, I would most certainly let you shoot it! Just help me pay for some ammo, because that sh*t's expensive. I put about $40 down range between both of 'em on Tuesday. It was great, but I can't afford to do that too often Bob O "When I raise my flashing sword, and my hand takes hold on judgment, I will take vengeance upon mine enemies, and I will repay those who haze me. Bob Ouellette 78
That sounds like it'd be a great party, the only problem is getting everyone together from across the country. I'm all the way on the East coast, Mike is in the West, and I know that Alan is about a day's drive from me. This one might have to be a virtual party Bob O "When I raise my flashing sword, and my hand takes hold on judgment, I will take vengeance upon mine enemies, and I will repay those who haze me. Paul Lemasters 0
Take the time to learn to hand load - not reload. (yes , there's a difference)You'll be pleasantly surprised at both the accuracy and the savings. Been hand loading for years( since '77). I'll stack my hand loads up against any factory made ammo any time, any where. Common sense ain't very common these days
