I've been interested in Harpoon tips lately and decided to try one for a buildoff on JerzeeDevil

 

 

 

I present to you:

 

"Kestrel"

 

very first knife with my new mark.

 

.25 x 8.5" 1084 Blade,

Hollow ground

Harpoon tip

Sharpened clip and back edge of clip. Faceted spine

5" Blackwood handle

416 Stainless double guard

 

still need to make the sheath up.

Dude. That is a *bad* looking blade. The harpoon tip is something I haven't seen before. I like it.

 

Did you quench it in pure testosterone? LOL

it looks very well built.. i think the tip fits the overall beef of the knife just fine.. thank you for sharing.

Very nice.

cool look to the mark as well, So what's the origin of the Crowbar, I remember you used that as the name on some earlier knives, and then the F on your previous amrk was one.

 

The blackwood you've been getting is a bit brown compared to some I've seen, is it out of a certain location?

get down!!! clean lines...nothing overstated..if i had money to "collect" knives ..i 'd want this one in my collection sweet work ....subtle but,full of intent..how much does the knife weigh ???? thank you for sharing.
