Serge Panchenko
Hey guys, I spent all day working on this little utility knife, overall length is 6 1/4" with a 2 1/4" blade. The temper line came out a bit wavy which was a nice surprise! Steel is an old Nicholson file, handle is curly maple that I still need to finish sanding down and dye. C Daniel
i love your knives, have you thought about trying something longer, maybe a long dagger or seax? i only need 3 things to be happy: my girlfriend, my forge, and fruit juice. Serge Panchenko
i love your knives, have you thought about trying something longer, maybe a long dagger or seax? All my knives are made using a 1x30" and 1x42" underpowered belt sanders. I think grinding a sword blade would take a hundred hours! Actually my wife just got a good job so I can afford to get something decent. I'll be buying a 2x72" Coote grinder in the next several weeks. I've been working on some drawings of Celtic swords, so I think I'll be making something like that soon. SERGEKNIVES.COM
tsterling
Very pretty, Serge! I like the lines, just overall very pleasing to the eye. I'd love to play with it... Tom SterlingTom's Instagram Tom's FacebookSterling Sculptures Web Site
