C Daniel
i like the blade, and i personally think it would look cool with wood. brass is another good material. what kind of equipment are you working with? that'll tell us what materials you would be best to use. edit: also, we have a board for this kind of stuff, "design and critique". a lot of people check that out and offer some great advise. Thanks C Daniel, but this was only an example of handle material for parsha, this, is one post of his... I have: an old Coote beltgrinder 2"x48", Metabo 800W drill, Dremel, Paragon KM 14D oven and many files. I think the best materials are the materials that you need to make a knife what are necessary for the final destination of use! Or: best for what? In this case, the blade was an old file and the handle was a handle of a door. I will go to "design and critique", thanks, but my English, is not good...! Thanks for your patience parsha, hi C Daniel! To build for growing www.trentinistefano.it
C Daniel
tristini, i really liked your knife, too, but i was asking parsha. i have no problem understanding your english and you're right, the handle must fit the use, but i was wondering what use parsha had in mind for his blade. thanks for the reply! i only need 3 things to be happy: my girlfriend, my forge, and fruit juice. WPeterson
The brass would be a nice touch. You also might want to consider thinning the aluminum handle to add some wood scales Wes Peterson www.wpbladesmith.com Southeast Georgia
