Serge Panchenko
Hey guys, this is my first folder made for a KITH on another forum. Handle is Maple steel is 1080 with a temper line visible by the top of the plunge, pins are mild steel with brass liners. Closed length is 2 1/2" with an open length of 3 5/8". I will be making a little leather sheath for it in the next couple of days. It's not perfect but I'm happy with it. I had fun making it but it was very time consuming! GEzell
Now that's a beauty. The peinned pins and rustic finish on the blade really give it an old-time feel. Sam Salvati
Serge, VERY NICELY DONE!! If you were to make another of these how much do you think it would run? Let not the swords of good and free men be reforged into plowshares, but may they rest in a place of honor; ready, well oiled and God willing unused. MJDForge
That's a really cool knife, once again. Two Questions: 1. What's the handle material 2. What's a KITH? jipp
That's a really cool knife, once again. Two Questions:1. What's the handle material 2. What's a KITH? kith == knife in the hat.. basically everyone builds one then they do a random drawing.. and you send your knife to whoever got drawn for it, and you get one in return. pretty cool way to experience knifes you may never get too other wise. chris. i could complain but who would listen. chris.
