Sam Salvati
Bit painful on the hand? Love it Looks forged from the round end of a drill bit. Let not the swords of good and free men be reforged into plowshares, but may they rest in a place of honor; ready, well oiled and God willing unused. K Freier
Man if one of my handles warped that much during the quench i wouldnt go posting it here Just kidding. i acually like it alot and if the twists were close together then i think that it would make a very nice feeling all metal handle. I also think that it does look forged from a drill bit. Karl a tall glass of milk... just a quenching medium for hot cookies.
Kenon Rain.
I like it a lot, reminds me of a river snail shell in shape, and they're sharp too. Looks like it might be pretty comfortable though, at least for a callused hand.
JPH
I dunno which end would hurt for to hold!!! For a second there I thought..man he made a wood auger into something wicked... Different...looks good...most definately something one does not see all that often.. JPH If you wish to know the price of freedom..Visit a Veteran's Hospital...I am humbled by their sacrifice... Why is it when the Mighty Thor throws his hammer he is dispensing Justice and fighting Evil..BUT..when I throw my hammer I wind up in a mandatory 16 week anger management course??</p> I came into this world naked, screaming and covered in someone else's blood...I have no problem going out the same way... thedemoguy
I think it's cool and looks like you could get a good grip on it...... And sissy's without callused hands shouldn't play with sharp shit anyways.... You're the same dumb pilgrim who I've been hearing for twenty days, and smellin' for three! Isaiah Lake
Bit painful on the hand? Love it Looks forged from the round end of a drill bit. I tried forging a drill bit once.It was a scary experience:blink:.I don't recommend it.Dagger's cool serge. The extraordinary has never been achieved without the sacrifice of security. Take your chances thin, and take them often.
KPeacock
Well, If you messed up the heat treat and the blade ever breaks off, you can always use it as a wood drill. I haven't seen one like that before. I like it. Have you ever thought about the life of steel? It's interesting to think that you can control the fate of a piece of metal. Alan Longmire
Nice job on that. Especially the blade, that's a nice dagger blade! I think if the twist was a bit more even it'd be perfect.
cwilliams
Nice work Serge, the perfect symmetry of the blade balanced with the abstract nature of the handle work and play off each other. I actually think the handle looks very comfortable as its obvious it was sanded carefully removing all sharp/high spots. Serge Panchenko
Thanks guys. Regarding the un-evenness of the twist, that was intentional. While looking at the handle when I was finishing up the knife the words "method to madness" for some reason kept popping into my head The knife looks much better in real life. I attempted to make better pics with the lightbox last night but they just come out the same... SERGEKNIVES.COM
