Man if one of my handles warped that much during the quench i wouldnt go posting it here  Just kidding. i acually like it alot and if the twists were close together then i think that it would make a very nice feeling all metal handle. I also think that it does look forged from a drill bit.

I was about to say, I've done a similar type handle for a project and it is really nice on the hand, I twisted mine up a little tighter though but I like how it looks!

Well, If you messed up the heat treat and the blade ever breaks off, you can always use it as a wood drill. I haven't seen one like that before. I like it.

Nice work Serge, the perfect symmetry of the blade balanced with the abstract nature of the handle work and play off each other.

I actually think the handle looks very comfortable as its obvious it was sanded carefully removing all sharp/high spots.

Thanks guys. Regarding the un-evenness of the twist, that was intentional. While looking at the handle when I was finishing up the knife the words "method to madness" for some reason kept popping into my head :) The knife looks much better in real life. I attempted to make better pics with the lightbox last night but they just come out the same...
