DFogg
It started out with work being done on the server and evolved into reinstalling the MySQL database. Apparently, we lost nearly three weeks, but I am checking to see if it can't be fixed. Sorry for the problems, Don Don Fogg
Kenon Rain.
I wonder what was so significant about the 27th.. weird going back into time glad its back though
DFogg
We had a wrinkle in time and because of a catastrophic server drive failure they were only able to reinstall from the last backup which was Oct 27. I hate losing all the information, but nothing can be done about it now. I will do better about backing up. Don Fogg
Alan Longmire
Interestingly enough, I had a photo on this server that I linked into another site after the 27th and it's still there. This means at least some of the data still exists, even if the text no longer does. Ah, computers! Thanks for doing all you do, Don.

C Craft
I tried to sign in yesterday late and it was like the site didn't exist. This morning all most evrything was computer code and I got back out of the site. Seems to be up and running now though. Computers you got to love them. Dont you? C Craft Customs ~~~ With every custom knife I build I try to accomplish three things. I want that knife to look so good you just have to pick it up, feel so good in your hand you can't wait to try it, and once you use it, you never want to put it down ! If I capture those three factors in each knife I build, I am assured the knife will become a piece that is used and treasured by its owner! ~~~ C Craft

Andrew C.
Mr. Fogg, You have created a place where I can come to learn and ask questions of the best bladesmiths in the world. The information you've made available to me is such that a loss like this is a small price to pay. Please don't feel bad Thanks for working so hard to keep this place running!
