B. Norris 10
Here is something that I've had on my bench for way too long. Decided that since I was pretty much trapped in the house with the blizzard here yesterday that I'd get to work on it. Just needs sanded a bit more and some kind of finish on the walnut. Steel is from an unused plow disk that I bought from a farm/general store that went out of business many years ago. Over all length is 6 & 3/4 inches. Widest part of blade is 11/16 of an inch. Handle length is right at 3 inches. Steel is 1/8 inch thick and tapers for the last 1 & 1/2 inch to the tip. ~Bruce~

Wade Hougham 1
Bruce, Very nice lines and well proportioned. Is that an etched finish or forged? Real nice knife. Wade
B. Norris 10
Wade, That is the finish that was present on the surface of the plow disk. I had etched this blade in vinegar but, did not like how it turned out so I just sanded the flats of the blade. Right now, the blade flats are at 400 grit and the handle is at 100 grit. The pins in the handle are brass, since I left that out of the first post. I'll get this done, probably this coming weekend and post pictures of the finished knife. ~Bruce~
Cylvre 0
I've always had a particular fondness for warncliff blades. That's a real beauty, the surface texture really sets everything off wonderfully.
