JJ Simon
This is 12 half dollars, I use a split pipe for a jig and gently pressed them in and then worked from there. I'm still having some trouble with pattern development. but here goes.

Sam Salvati
JJ I'll say you got pattern development down pretty well! Let not the swords of good and free men be reforged into plowshares, but may they rest in a place of honor; ready, well oiled and God willing unused. For if the price of peace becomes licking the boots of tyrants, then "To Arms!" I say, and may the fortunes of war smile upon patriots
JJ Simon
Thanks guys. Like I said the press helps a ton. There was no hammering until the end and that was with a little auto body hammer. Sam the patterns are coming along but I'm really relying on drilling I need to invest in some dental bits to be able to grind other shapes so to speak. I will say this is a much cheaper route than buying nice clean thick material.
