Hello all!!

:)

well, i am now back home from all my travels abroad.

and so i thought some of you might want to see the JS blades i submitted for my test.

I managed to get PointSeven Studios to take a piccy of my blades .. which i am so very glad of as they did a marvelously wonderful job.

:)

as some of you might know already, my time away was a really stressful and chaotic time for me.

not only did i have the stress of going for my JS stamp ..

but the airlines managed to lose my luggage as i came over... clothes, toothbrush .. and all my blades.

but, thankfully .. after much hassle .. and the kindness of many many people over the course of the weekend .. i managed to do my performance test .. then submit my blades for judging all in a matter of moments of each other.

(as well as get a toothbrush)

and yes, i did manage to pass.

:D

this was my first real big time knife show to attend ..

and i cant even begin to tell you how much of an impact it had on me.

not only the testing etc ... but i had so much support and kindness from so many people that it will take me several days to manage to write out all the thank you letters that are required.

:)

this is such a wonderful industry to be a part of!!

:D

whoops ... ive rambled on again ..

anyhow .. enjoy the blades,

comments welcome.

its good to be back.

:)

yay - good job on passing! I wish, sort of, that your lost luggage had accidentally been delivered to my house. Those are beautiful knives (I don't think the clothes would fit). OK - not really, I would rather see you pass the test. But, if they gotta get lost...

Really nice work.

Glad your home safe and sound Dee. Hopefully your trip home was uneventful in comparison to your journey to the States. :P

Those beautiful knives you presented managed to show your abilities quite well. :D

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with now you're at the next level. ;)

Congratulations! Well deserved. I only live about five miles from where the Blade show is staged, but I didn't make it there this year. In a curious bit of symmetry, I was putting my son on the plane to fly to Australia that Saturday, which pretty much ate up my whole day...

Congrats, glad everything worked out with the luggage. There is only one way to get a JS, to earn it. The back story and drama will just make the experience more memorable for you and friends. So happy for you, :D.
