C.Anderson Posted August 2, 2010 Share Posted August 2, 2010 It's a flat spring lock Hutton. When the blade opens the flat spring pops out and holds the blade. When you want to close it, you push the spring over with your thumb, allowing the blade to fall back enough to hold the spring down...then you close it.
