Nick Wheeler
Hey folks Finally getting back in the swing of things and making knives to share here This one is clay hardened W2... in fact it's the blade from that thread I threw together about how I've been polishing clay hardened blades. Jim Cooper really outdid himself. I've never seen a photo that displayed both activity in a hamon AND an overall complimentary view of the knife.... My kudos to my friend Coop! 416 guard with copper and black micarta spacers, golden Ironwood handle. MASTER leather craftsman Mr. Paul Long's handiwork here... gosh damn that man is good!!! Thanks for looking Edited September 22, 2010 by Nick Wheeler

Alan Longmire
Paul and Coop certainly did a good job, but YOUR work on this is fairly eye-popping too, y'know. Adding those spacers was genius. Gives a very classic look to a modern blade.

Kevin Colwell
I am quite impressed with the polish and hamon. Of course, the whole thing looks good, but man, that is what we all hope to get when we do that sort of heat treat. Really beautiful. please visit my website http://www.professorsforge.com/ “Years ago I recognized my kinship with all living things, and I made up my mind that I was not one bit better than the meanest on the earth. I said then and I say now, that while there is a lower class, I am in it; while there is a criminal element, I am of it; while there is a soul in prison, I am not free.” E. V.
