Hey folks :)

Finally getting back in the swing of things and making knives to share here :)

This one is clay hardened W2... in fact it's the blade from that thread I threw together about how I've been polishing clay hardened blades. Jim Cooper really outdid himself. I've never seen a photo that displayed both activity in a hamon AND an overall complimentary view of the knife.... My kudos to my friend Coop!

416 guard with copper and black micarta spacers, golden Ironwood handle.

MASTER leather craftsman Mr. Paul Long's handiwork here... gosh damn that man is good!!! :o

Thanks for looking :)

Paul and Coop certainly did a good job, but YOUR work on this is fairly eye-popping too, y'know. B)

Adding those spacers was genius. Gives a very classic look to a modern blade.

Excuse the language o ye moderators, but damn dude! WOW!

Great hamon activity. I have seen that palm swell on your scandi blades. Hehehe, makes my blades look like trash

Awsome!

Cheers

I am quite impressed with the polish and hamon. Of course, the whole thing looks good, but man, that is what we all hope to get when we do that sort of heat treat. Really beautiful.
