Laverstock inspired seax - WIP

Ok, the sax is technicaly ready, it has to be patinated, cleaned, sharpened etc, but the work now will be on the scabbard fittings

well, i will try to find out what my airlines think of such idea :-)

 

If you bring in check in luggage, there should be no real problem.

Ryan Air has a policy of "no weapons". Not even knives in check in luggage. Ask Owen...

 

Otherwise, my experience is that large air lines accept even full length swords as check in luggage.

 

I´d very much like to see this blade :-)

 

(But ask the air line, just in case...)

almost at the end, i chose brass tiny rivets to warm up the colours, i want to add amber donut for the same reasons

Petr- you are on fire, man! that is just awesome as a design and follow-through. I am happy to see you make such huge strides. You were already the best at making handles and fittings and sheaths to go with pieces derived from this era and region. Now, you are just shining out there alone. Great work, sir.
