Feather Hawk

Recommended Posts

This hawk has a 17" oak haft with a hand forged leaf spring head that is 7 1/2". The haft has rawhide and sinew with steel pins and feathers. There is also a piece of antler through the bottom of the haft.

Any and all comments are always welcome.

I really like that one, Wade. I like to make hawks. I've only made the split and drift variety. I really like this one from top to bottom. I'm gonna have to try one of these. Thanks for posting this one!

That's real nice Wade. I've also only done split and drift. How do you secure the blade? Is there a pin under the rawhide?
