Thats awsome! thanks Jeroen, Bag bellows are just way to easy to manufacture, portable, and effective to have not have been in fairly widespread use in my opinion. Its nice to see a depiction from that period.

I don't use anything else :) I know Theophilus describes them, so they were still around in the early 12th century. But it's certainly cool to see confirmation from the actual time I'm interested in! Interesting anvil to b.t.w.
